Panagiotis Sarafis was born on November 30, 1985. He received his Diploma in electrical and computer engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Athens, Greece, in June 2010.  

He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at NCSR   Demokritos/IMEL in Athens, Greece in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens. The main subject of his work is the development of porous Si substrate for the on-chip integration of RF and mm-wave devices.
